The King Returned to Prague this Spring (2-DVD set)

18 disc versions in 23 languages for the 2-disk set DVD release in Europe, South Africa, Arabia and Australia & New Zealand. It was essential that the authoring was made parallel to the creative development in the content, assets, navigations and concept making of the DVDs. It was a real challenge to convert the assets for all local versions from about 25 different countries in rather short time-frame in order to finish all the international versions and get them ready to the market at the very same time as the US version. That way the Prague team of DMP spent this spring. Under highly professional production coordination and supervision of CINRAM company, in co-operation with the rights owner New Line Cinema the Czech team worked on those international versions of the third part of The Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King {Disk2}. Digital Media Production was invited to this project on the basis of their experience and professional know-how in programming and production coordination, which they proved already in the past two years working on both previous parts of the international release of SEE DVD The Lord of The Rings 1 and 2.

Interactive on-line 3D model of SAZKA ARENA in the center of interest of the Web3D community

SAZKA ARENA, the state-of-the-art multipurpose arena in Europe, where the Ice Hockey World Championship 2004 was hosted in April, can be now visited also virtually through the internet version as fully interactive 3D model, on the official web page: www.SazkaArena.com/3d. This on-line SAZKA ARENA is a special application based on the complex 3D model realistically representing all the details of the brand new arena, and whose main purpose has been to serve as a powerful expert tool in order to solve operational tasks of facility management, maintenance teams, architects, sales and marketing department as well as business development professionals. Regardless the extraordinary dimensions of this building and vast number of elements the final model consists of, DMP succeeded in a perfect optimization of this application based on a set of special algorithms and in-house developed 3D-interactive tools, resulting thus in a very well tuned application, which gained its deserved respect from the world Web3D community on numerous professional websites such as: www.web3d.org and www.web3d-fr.com or http://www.neeneenee.de/vrml/desktop.html.

The first double DVD of Kill Bill was made by the Czech distributor

While Americans had been releasing the Kill Bill movie on a single DVD only, practically without any extras, the ambitious Czech distributor Magic Box carefully collected a number of assets in order to provide the fans of this cult movie with the very best possible and achievable from what the director Tarantino allowed at this period of time. Magic Box was the very first distributor in Europe to have released the Kill Bill on a double DVD which was produced by Digital Media Production. Those discs contain the local version not only in DD5.1, but also in the Czech DTS (what is still unique in the Czech Republic!) and a big amount of bonuses (about movie, Tarantino s approach to different film genres, interviews with the actors and authors, behind the scenes shots, action scenes "Blood way", gallery, texts of the songs, Windows wallpapers, screensavers and other bonuses for the DVD-ROM) and, of course, nice menu in the characteristic Kill Bill style.
